I’m an American citizen of African Moroccan origin with African DNA, and I have acquired my U.S. citizenship in 2014 during Pres. Obama.

I’m a registered Independent and since 2014, just in property taxes, I have paid over $150,000 as a homeowner in the expensive East Rock neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, which went to finance the New Haven police department.

I’d like to thank the Rape Crisis Center for their legal counsel in writing and filing this Criminal Complaint.

I’m one of the very few Joycean scholars and translators of color in the world – perhaps the only one – a woman of African descent with African DNA.

Because I’m an international scholar and I was doing research on Joyce and his complex metaphorical novels, Ulysses and Finnegans Wake, I became the target of rape and sex trafficking, passport theft, racism and discrimination from teaching staff at Yale and Berkeley, where such violent crimes are widespread, see Prof. W. Brown (p. 24)

They use international students and scholars as currency to exchange favors – personal as well as financial favors, such as visiting appointments; conferences and guest-lectures around the world all-expenses paid, etc.

And they had a system in place: first rape and abuse the victims, then eliminate the witnesses. They stole my passport, blackmailed and groomed me for years. And the violence didn’t stop thanks to the intervention of the New Haven police, or some students’ dean, or some administrator at Yale – not at all.

The violence came to an end only because the wife of one of the rapists, Ms. Yu-Lin Wang, found my passport in her house, and she used it to obtain a very favorable divorce for herself, getting 75% of Mr. Saussy’s assets.

Saussy was found guilty of violent and abusive treatment against his wife and handicapped children, as well as adultery with a middle-aged Russian woman called Olga V. Solovieva. All these objective facts are described in public court documents available at the Superior Court of New Haven: Saussy v. Saussy, CT Sup. 8912 of 5/29/2009, Docket # FA-07-4027957S.

From 2002, I’ve been a victim of racially-motivated rape and sex trafficking; passport theft; financial retaliation; hacking and email fraud; slander and defamation; hate crimes and discrimination against protected categories; stalking and online stalking; blackmail and death threats against me and my family.

Many of these crimes are still ongoing.

The situation became so dangerous that in 2021, I had to have a legal change of name for my protection and the protection of my family.

And to avoid more violence, racist hate crimes and discrimination, I chose a non-binary and gender-neutral name.

These are the sex offenders:

John Bishop (b. 1948, age difference: 28 years)

Jay Fliegelman (b. 1948, age difference: 28 years)

Caleb Powell Haun Saussy, aka Haun Saussy (b. 2/15/1960, age difference: 16 years)

The number in parenthesis indicates the frightening age difference between each one of the perverted and deranged sex offenders and me, as one of their victims, since I was born in 1976.

Bishop, Fliegelman, Saussy and Lewis knew each other from Stanford University and referred to themselves as “Stanford buddies,” while Mazzotta was Saussy’s mentor at Yale.

Academia is international and, in the same way, rape and sex trafficking are international.

Jay Fliegelman was also found guilty of raping an Asian-American student, Ms. Seo-Young Chu.

Stanford paid attention to her complaint and they supported her. It was only thanks to this remedial legal action and support that she was able to become an associate professor of English at NYU.

On the other hand, Jay Fliegelman was forced to take a two-years’ leave without pay, and he lost face with his colleagues, family and friends – which intensified his alcohol addiction and precipitated his liver cancer.

The repeat sex offenders have harassed, raped and abused international students and scholars, whom they see as easy targets, for the following reasons.

First, international students and scholars don’t usually have friends or acquaintances who can protect them in the new country.

Second, it’s easy to rescind their VISAs and send them away with a false/preposterous reason, or no reason at all.

Third, civil rights are non-existent or extremely limited in countries like China, and the victims find it impossible to denounce these racist and violent crimes once they leave the States.

Saussy is a violent pervert, a plagiarist, an academic fraud and a complete ignoramus, cf. relevant sections pp. 15-17 and 25-27.

One of the academic fields he blabbers about without any knowledge is Chinese literature, cf. Ms. Yu-Lin Wang section. More than anything else, Saussy is a violent psychopath who admires tyrannical societies, and he tries to copy the manner in which they exploit and destroy people.

The easiest way in which Saussy tries to physically eliminate his victims is by accusing them of “picking fights” and being “crazy troublemakers.”

It may seem strange for people who were born and raised in Western democracies, but those are legal terms and key-words for the state police in China, denouncing anyone who advocates for human rights against autocratic regimes like the Communist Chinese Party.

Virtually anybody can be included in that category, simply by posting something critical of the CCP on social media, cf. the remarkable documentary by BBC Eye Investigations, Troublemakers: Drugged, Framed and Detained (2025).

By accusing his victims of being crazy troublemakers, Saussy gets their VISAs terminated. And once they are sent back, they are detained and drugged in psychiatric wards without their consent.

These civil rights violations started many years ago, e.g. the Red Cross estimates that 2,600 people were murdered or disappeared in psychiatric wards after the repression of the pro-democracy demonstrations on Tiananmen Square in 1989.

The “Stanford buddies” would steal the passports of international students, including my European passport.

They would use the stolen documents to blackmail their victims and force them to undergo OBGYN visits at Planned Parenthood, to see if they were free of STDs and if their genitals were shaped like “Fleshlights.”

To counterbalance the fact that they needed medication for erectile dysfunction, the sex offenders used these “toys” to get gratification.

But their racist dream was to find “Fleshlights” among real, young students.

Personally, being from Western Africa and with African DNA, I would never have accepted an academic post at Yale if there had been legal disclosure.

Particularly, if Richard Levin and his wife, Ms. Jane Levin — speaking of illegal conflicts of interests and egregious financial frauds — had properly disclosed and apologized for Haun Saussy’s financial and ideological affiliation to the KKK through his father, Tupper Saussy, see below his crazy KKK conspiracy, Tennessee Waltz: The Making of a Political Prisoner (1987).

Tupper Saussy was a convicted felon, crazy conspiracy theorist, and close friend and biographer of the same James Earl Ray (1928-1998) who murdered Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., leader of the Civil Rights Movement.

No less than MLK, one of the most important figures in American history!

Haun Saussy’s connection with the KKK is repulsive, disturbing and frightening. He’s still making a lot of money with his father’s racist ideologies and crazy conspiracies.

Many of the violent and racist crimes described in this Criminal Complaint could have been avoided if Richard Levin and Ms. Jane Levin had been transparent regarding Haun Saussy’s financial and personal affiliation with the KKK.

In the same way, there was absolutely no transparency about Saussy’s illegal conflict of interests with a Russian middle-aged woman called Olga Solovieva.

Saussy lobbied for her fake “career” at the expense of everyone else, stealing millions of dollars in unmerited fellowships, teaching jobs, travels all around the world, etc., by forging dozens of reports and fake letters of recommendation for Solovieva over the years, cf. public court documents.

But there was absolutely no disclosure and no transparency about any of these objective and documented facts.

Even now, corrupt individuals like Richard Levin and his wife, Ms. Jane Levin – speaking of illegal conflicts of interests and egregious financial frauds — are trying to conceal such racist affiliation, offering no apology and no reparation whatsoever.

After being fired from Yale, Saussy and his old Russian mistress relocated at Chicago, where he’s still acting as her sponsor, and he still lobbies for her with anyone who can give money – with numerous conflicts of interests, both academically and financially.

And what’s even worse, these two associates in crime are still in close contact with young and diverse students and scholars, creating very dangerous and abusive situations.

Saussy inherited some “gravel mines” – and even though he lost 75% of his assets to his ex-wife, Ms. Yu-Lin Wang, he has been thriving on the misery of people of color for all his life.

Hence, if anyone should make amends and pay substantial reparations to African Americans – that’s precisely a violent, bigoted and ignorant racist like Saussy from Tennessee.

In the fall semester 2005, Saussy stole my passport and used it to blackmail me, so I would acquiesce and keep silent about the rape and sex trafficking.

He kept my passport until 2007, when his wife found it and she divorced him, obtaining very favorable conditions for herself and getting 75% of Saussy’s assets.

Saussy also wanted complete access – with the passwords – to my Yale email account and to my private email accounts, so he could check all my professional and personal contacts, as well as my correspondence with them.

He would constantly email and call my contacts, impersonating me and pretending to be me, including emails to Planned Parenthood, where he would make OBGYN appointments, and arrange emergency care for me after his abuses.

I was like some valuable merchandise to be transferred from one sex offender to the other, in exchange for academic and financial favors. Like John Bishop, Saussy had a special “friend” at Planned Parenthood, who helped him recruit and groom his victims among international students and scholars.

All the sex offenders had a racist mindset and a manipulative personality, which some of them disguised under a thin veneer of false kindness, pretending to be “good guys.” But in reality, not one of them has ever produced one single African scholar throughout their worthless and fake “career,” which was wasted committing violent crimes, and stealing both public and private money.

They all had what during COVID-19 became commonly known as “underlying conditions,” for instance: overweight, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure and circulation problems, which would inevitably cause impotence and erectile dysfunction (ED).

Some of them, like Saussy, also had mental illnesses, cf. the judge’s memorandum of decision regarding Saussy’s “mental state,” see pp. 21-24 in this Criminal Complaint.

As shown by public court records, Saussy suffers from manic depression and autism; inability to interact socially; alcohol addiction; violent patterns of behavior and suicidal ideation; bizarre conduct such as banging his head against the wall and rolling on the floor, etc. – for which he was treated by psychiatrists and prescribed heavy psychotropic drugs, which had many adverse effects and worsened his impotence and erectile dysfunction.

Saussy was by far the most dangerous and deranged of the sex offenders. The fact that he was completely dependent on Cialis and Viagra made him extremely paranoid, angry and violent. For instance, he would use metal push-pins on my skin – especially in tattooed areas, to be less detectable and less conspicuous – causing cuts and bruises, and sometimes hitting a vein.

Several times I had to look for emergency care at Planned Parenthood, even though they are not supposed to deal with emergencies.

But that’s where Saussy had placed one of his Chinese contacts and ex-girlfriends, who called herself “Dr. Annie.”

That stupid individual couldn’t even speak English, and looked like anything except a doctor.

But she had an important role, acting as a Ghislaine Maxwell for Saussy, procuring international students for him and instructing them on how to give him pleasure.

Indeed, she knew him very well, and she knew that he was completely dependent on Viagra and Cialis.

Trying to live out his mental fantasies with his Aneros, he damaged a few expensive hotel beds. But he didn’t mind, since he saw himself as an old, crazy rock-star like Alice Cooper.

Saussy is physically repulsive – old, fat and flabby – and eats a lot of junk food, dripping with cheese and gooey sauces.

He rarely takes a shower, his underwear is always soiled, and he stinks.

Every time I was forced to see him, he was always under the influence of alcohol and different types of drugs.

And while he was under the influence, he would drive recklessly on the highway, since his favorite hotels are along the North-East coast and in New York City.

In 2005-2007, Saussy had a car that looked like a Saab, and he would drive me to different hotels, e.g. Omni, Marriott, etc., on the coast and in New York City.

He thought he could get away with murder and do anything he wanted, day or night, since his poor ex-wife didn’t speak English and didn’t even have a TV to relate to the outside world and learn something new.

Indeed, Ms. Wang was unemployed, isolated and cut off from society, and she was completely dependent on her cheating husband to tell her “the truth” – as if he knew anything about it, cf. the judge’s complaints due to Saussy’s constant lying and his attempts to put the blame on others throughout the court proceedings:

“Despite his claims of financial sophistication, the husband [Saussy] has filed at least five [5] financial affidavits during the course of the court proceedings. And when cross-examined on the failure to report certain assets on prior affidavits, he blamed his former lawyers. Further, during the course of the trial, this court directed the husband to submit a revised financial affidavit, when it became apparent that he did fail to report life insurance policies with cash values as assets.” (Memorandum of Decision, p. 7)

Public court records also describe in detail Saussy’s patterns of violent behavior against his family members, e.g. abusing younger people; putting the blame on them, falsely accusing them and projecting on them his own crimes; destroying their freedom of expression and freedom of association with others, cf. the memorandum of decision concerning Saussy’s “mental state.” (Criminal Complaint, pp. 21-24)

These are all patterns of criminal behavior that Saussy used against his victims.

And if he abuses his own family members in this repulsive way, imagine what he’s capable of doing against totally unrelated people like students and scholars on the workplace.

Public records also show that Dean Jon Butler and Provost Andrew Hamilton received Subpoenas to appear in court.

They were perfectly aware of Saussy’s mental illnesses, illegal actions and violent patterns of behavior.

But instead of warning and helping students and scholars, they chose to aid and abet a dangerous racist and sex offender, so as to keep stealing both private and public money.

Speaking of violence combined with mental illness and pathological hatred against women, Saussy was obsessed with Bret Easton Ellis and his semi-autobiographical novel, American Psycho (1991), which he considered the great American novel. Saussy aspired to be like the mentally-ill protagonist, Patrick Bateman, a do-nothing “businessman” leading a double life as a serial killer of women.

Saussy would often quote violent passages from B.E. Ellis’ novel and film adaptation (2000), as in this disturbing email about his ex-wife:

Of course, Saussy was completely wrong about his smart ex-wife.

He’s pathologically delusional, overestimating himself and underestimating others.

He didn’t expect his ex-wife to understand what he was doing behind her back, and he certainly didn’t expect her to grasp that rare opportunity to divorce him, getting most of his assets.

But for the victims, the violence didn’t stop with Saussy’s scandalous divorce and dismissal from Yale.

As previously stated, the sex offenders had a system: first rape and abuse the victims/witnesses, then eliminate them.

And for many years, as they tried to end my life, they did commit many additional crimes, as detailed in the enclosed letter to the Director of National Intelligence.

Saussy is like the suicidal addict and alcoholic, Osborne Cox, in Burn After Reading.

And Solovieva is like the imbecile Linda Litzke, lusting after plastic surgeries.

HAUN & TUPPER SAUSSY: MAKING MONEY WITH THE KKK

Public court records show that Haun Saussy is a violent racist with deep financial and ideological ties to the KKK. Being of African descent, I would never have accepted an academic post at Yale University if Richard Levin and his wife, Ms. Jane Levin – speaking of conflict of interests – had properly disclosed, and apologized for, Saussy’s personal and financial ties to the Klan.

Tupper Saussy also wrote a crazy how-to-do book titled, Miracle on Main Street (1980) on how to steal money and defraud the IRS. He did defraud the IRS himself, and then he encouraged many others to do the same. Hence, he was condemned for fraud and tax evasion, and sentenced to two years in jail.

But instead of serving time, he left a defying video to tease federal agents, and then became a fugitive. He remained in hiding for over 10 years, living on the streets like a vagrant, taking occasional showers in public facilities – until he was finally apprehended in California and sent to prison.

During his jailtime, Tupper Saussy was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.

For instance, he believed that the American government was “persecuting” him, and that certain religions had to be eliminated.

Specifically, Tupper Saussy believed that “evil Catholics” have secretly manipulated American politics and, for this to be a “free country,” all Catholics “should be killed” like President John F. Kennedy. To promote this insane and genocidal idea, he wrote another insane conspiratorial rant titled, Rulers of Evil (1990):

Tupper Saussy’s insane KKK conspiracy theories are still being sold to a large audience of violent racists and aspiring murderers in this country.

Without ever having been an intellectual or academician, Tupper Saussy still produces a significant income after his death.

Unlike his son, Haun – hence his pervasive envy, violent anger, and sense of personal failure connected with his deplorable but much more “successful” father figure.

Many of his victims are women of color, and after assaulting them, he tries to eliminate potential witnesses by committing even more crimes, e.g. defamation, hacking and email fraud, stalking and death threats, etc.

As a violent psychopath, Saussy shows absolutely no remorse for his crimes.

And when he is exposed and denounced, he misrepresents himself as a “poor victim” accusing the actual victims, i.e. the women he has assaulted, raped and sex trafficked.

Saussy projects his own crimes and existential failures on the victims, exactly as he did against his poor ex-wife and handicapped children, see court records describing his deranged “mental state” in the section below.

Don’t throw stones if you live in a glass house, as they say.

HAUN SAUSSY’S DERANGED “MENTAL STATE” – MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

Public records: Saussy v. Saussy, Docket # FA-07-4027957S

Public court records show that Haun Saussy has been suffering for years from severe mental illnesses such as manic depression and autism; he’s unable to interact socially;

he engages in abusive behavior against his family members; he projects his own crimes and personal failures on others, e.g. his ex-wife/children; he exhibits suicidal ideation and bizarre behaviors such as rolling on the floor, banging his head against the wall, etc.

Particularly heinous is the fact that Saussy has abused his foreign-born ex-wife and handicapped children for years.

For instance, he kept them isolated from the rest of the world, so they couldn’t learn English, they were isolated and didn’t know how to relate to other people in this country, with the result that they were totally dependent on him to know “the truth” – as if he knew anything about it.

This fact also explains why it was so easy for Saussy to cheat on his ex-wife for years, as she was completely alone and isolated in a foreign country. And if this criminal abused his own family members in such a terrible way, how can he possibly be trusted around other people, colleagues and students who are not even related to him?

In truth, he shouldn’t be employed anywhere. And instead, he should spend a long time in prison, exactly like his own father, Tupper Saussy.

Possibly due to this protracted child abuse, both of Saussy’s children, George and Juliana, were diagnosed with mental illness. And particularly his daughter, Juliana Saussy, was diagnosed with hallucinatory schizophrenia and, from a very early age, had to be heavily medicated and placed under the supervision of psychiatrists like Dr. Charles Preston Wiles.

Saussy even tried to refuse child support for his handicapped daughter. He portrayed himself as a “poor victim” by blaming his ex-wife for their daughter’s condition, cf. the judge’s memorandum of decision below.

It is quite rare for a judge to state that the husband’s “mental state” constitutes just cause for divorce. Among the facts that prompted the Judge’s final decision, we should mention:

Saussy’s constant lying, even in court and under oath;
his laughable attempts to portray himself as a “poor victim” and project all of his crimes on the actual victims of his violent behavior;
his pathological refusal to take responsibility for any crime he has committed, e.g. harassing and assaulting younger women; abusing his own children; blaming his ex-wife for giving birth to handicapped children and for not speaking English, when he himself has deprived his family members of any social interaction and association for years, etc.

Quoting verbatim from the memorandum of decision:

“The court finds that the husband’s claim that the breakdown of the marriage was due to his wife’s lack of support is NOT supported by the credible evidence. This court finds the husband to be at greater fault for the breakdown of the marriage, as evidenced by his mental state, and by his extramarital affair with another woman [“Olga Solovieva”].”

“The court accepts as credible the testimony of the wife that in the summer of 2007, the daughter accessed the husband’s computer for her personal use and found the husband’s personal communications with Ms. Olga Solovieva, evidencing the extramarital relationship. The daughter then shared this information with the mother.”

“The testimony of the parties reveals a marriage wherein the husband controlled virtually every aspect of familial life.”

“The husband brought his wife to the U.S. knowing that she was not fluent in the English language and he determined the family was to speak only Chinese in the home.

He further determined that there would be no television in the home. The wife was often uncomfortable in academic and/or social settings because she did not become fluent in English, and it is apparent that the husband blames the wife for her discomfort…”

“The wife claims, for the most part, that the parties had a common interest in Chinese literature and that she always put her husband’s needs first. She testified that she had witnessed emotional instability on the part of her husband throughout the marriage, but she tried to support him in his work.”

“The wife described her husband as very insecure and ‘socially kind of weird.’

She stated that he doesn’t know how to behave and ‘his mood is always up and down very much.’ She also described certain troubling conduct by the husband during the marriage, such as banging his head against a wall, and other bizarre behaviors.

Her claims regarding husband’s personality were corroborated by the husband’s aunt, Eugenia Commack… describing the husband as having been ‘a very troubled child who was unable to socially interact.’ Her testimony described the wife as a supportive and loving spouse.”

Saussy was treated by a psychiatrist and, like his handicapped daughter Juliana, he was prescribed heavy medications. But once again, he blames his wife for it:

“The husband claims the breakdown of the marriage was caused by the wife’s lack of support in his professional life.”

“He also claims that the wife refused to join him at professional events, that she accused him of being selfish and self-indulgent, and that she put herself between him and the children.

He further claims that her lack of support for his career moves resulted in his suffering from suicidal thoughts and depression… the husband was treated by a psychiatrist and was prescribed medications for depression.”

“The husband testified that in 2001 he had one-year leave from Stanford and that he was so conflicted over whether or not to accept the position at Yale that he spent most of the year lying on the floor, being obsessed with thoughts of suicide.”

But indecision over two positive things, i.e. being employed at Stanford or Yale, does not cause normal people to waste “most of the year lying on the floor” feeling “obsessed with thoughts of suicide.”

That’s another pathetic lie, coming from a stupid liar.

In truth, Stanford University wanted to get rid of a big liability like Saussy, a repeat sex offender and violent racist. For quite some time, Stanford and other universities have been hiring more women, people of color from diverse backgrounds, etc.

All that novelty made Saussy even crazier, causing a mental breakdown: he would get himself drunk and high all the time; he had murderous and suicidal fantasies; he rolled on the floor; he would bang his head against the wall, cf. public court records.

Saussy has deep-seated envy and hatred for intelligent women like his ex-wife, Ms. Wang, and he is completely incapable of understating why ANY private company or ANY university in the world would ever want to hire more women and racial minorities, getting rid of violent racists like him.

Who would ever do that, right?

The fact that Stanford wanted to get rid of KKK racists and sex offenders like Saussy – and hire more women and people of color – only worsened his mental illness and pathological hatred against diverse scholars like Professors Judith Butler and Wendy Brown, who became targets of his pathological envy.

Professors Wendy Brown and Judith Butler are partners and have a son, Isaac. Butler is non-binary (they/them) and they define their identity as follows: “I would say that I’m a feminist theorist, before I’m a queer theorist or a lesbian-and-gay theorist.”

Saussy deeply hates these two diverse scholars, since he wants to believe that they – and not himself, with his mental illnesses, violent crimes and KKK affiliation – are the reason why he was dismissed from Stanford and had to leave California.

Another reason for hating diverse people like Butler and Brown is their advocacy for students who were victims of violence. Indeed, Prof. Brown has explicitly criticized the colleges and universities that haven’t done enough to punish sex offenders and eliminate rape, harassment and violence in academia:

OLGA SOLOVIEVA

CIA and/or KGB? It doesn’t matter – the highest bidder.

But Miss Solovieva is retarded, and not exactly inconspicuous.

This is the record of a long series of violent and racist crimes, culminating in a multi-million-dollar financial fraud. In 2006-7, Ms. Yu-Lin Wang realized that Haun Saussy had an extra-marital affair with a middle-aged woman from Russia called Olga Viktorovna Solovieva (b. 2/28/1971), see memorandum of decision, also quoted in the previous section:

The daughter then shared this information with the mother.”

As shown in the court records, Saussy and Solovieva have known each other since the 1990s.

Solovieva knows about his violent crimes – she’s aware of the fact that he harasses, assaults and abuses international students and scholars. But as long as she keeps getting paid, she looks the other way.

Solovieva’s motivation is clear – coming from Russia’s depressed economy in the 1990s, and without the necessary academic qualifications, she wants free U.S. money and free access to U.S. academia.

On the other hand, Saussy wants to keep “enjoying” himself, committing crimes, harassing and assaulting younger women. And he needs an associate in crime to get away with murder.

Their motivations are complementary. Indeed, it’s a textbook case of criminal folie à deux.

To this end, Saussy has illegally recommended Miss Solovieva for a paid position as a “grad student” in “film studies” and comparative literature at Yale – even though she was middle-aged and unemployed, she didn’t have any relevant academic degree in those fields, and she needed a special VISA from a hostile country like Russia.

To support and promote her “career” at the expense of many others better prepared candidates, Saussy “supervised” – or rather, plagiarized – Solovieva’s “dissertation” on the “Body of Christ,” which is a very paradoxical topic for a couple of cheats and criminals, who don’t know anything about theology.

Saussy’s illegal conflict of interests with Solovieva is both ridiculous and shameful.

He’s been lobbying in support of her fake “career” for over three decades, and together they stole millions of dollars in salary, pension, healthcare benefits, travels, fake awards and fellowships, etc.

After being fired from Yale, Saussy and his old Russian mistress relocated at the University of Chicago, where he’s still acting as her “sponsor” and “lobbyist” – with many conflicts of interests, both financially and academically.

And what’s even worse, they are still in contact with young and diverse students and scholars, creating very dangerous and abusive situations.

By comparison, Prof. James J. Heckman, Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics (pictured above), has never lobbied to have his late wife teach at the University of Chicago – even though she had great talent in mathematics and statistics – precisely because they wanted to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interests.

Indeed, these two criminals are responsible for a massive financial fraud, especially considering all the innocent young students and scholars who have been sexually harassed and assaulted, and those who are now wasting their time and money with Saussy’s and Solovieva’s ignorance and corruption.

Speaking of egregious financial scams and schemes, Saussy laughably claims that comparative literature is a non-field “without any subject or methodology” and that people like himself, with a degree in nothing, must “improvise, occasion by occasion” to keep stealing money by blabbering nonsense.

Both Saussy and Solovieva are perfect idiots.

But that’s no laughing matter – there’s nothing more dangerous than stupidity.

Those two morons project their abysmal ignorance and corruption on an entire field, comparative literature, which originated in in ancient Rome, with the translation and reception of the Greeks.

Hence, in European universities it has always been considered as literature in translation, discussing and analyzing texts from a historical perspective, and following the historical method.

But for these two corrupt idiots – who don’t know anything about philology and linguistics, ancient and modern history, translation and interpretation studies – comparative literature would be a broken field like their dumb old asses. And they always add something new to the list of things they do NOT know.

What are they doing now at Chicago, to keep stealing money?

Saussy is a self-proclaimed “expert” in “global health,” while Solovieva is a self-proclaimed “expert” in geopolitics.

That’s hilarious!

But the truth is quite different.

1. Public court documents demonstrate beyond any doubt that Saussy suffers from severe mental illnesses such as manic depression; autism and inability to interact socially; suicidal tendencies and ideation; violence against his family members; bizarre and violent behavioral patterns such as rolling on the floor and banging his head against the wall, etc.

2. As detailed above, Haun Saussy’s father – Tupper Saussy – was a convicted felon who, during the years he spent in jail, was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. And if being a mentally-ill criminal weren’t disgraceful enough, Tupper Saussy was also a close friend of one of the most dangerous and deranged murderers in American history, James Earl Ray, who killed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Like father, like son – both mentally-ill criminals.

3. Moreover, to make the situation even worse, public court records show that Saussy’s children, George and Juliana — now adults in their thirties — were diagnosed with mental illnesses such as autism and schizophrenia.

From a very early age, they have needed psychiatric help and psychotropic drugs, so they were assigned to the supervision of Dr. Charles Preston Wiles, one of the leading psychiatrists in the country dealing with children’s pathologies, incl. in forensic settings such as Saussy’s divorce.

Public court records show that Dr. C.P. Wiles diagnosed Juliana Saussy with crippling autism and schizophrenia from her grandfather, Tupper Saussy. And Juliana’s situation was made even worse by having experienced child abuse at the hands of a violent and manipulative individual like Haun Saussy, cf. memorandum of decision.

Dr. C.P. Wiles found that Juliana had many disruptive hallucinations, which were both religious and sexual in nature, about “Jesus Christ” appearing to her as a sexually attractive “bearded man” who would baptize her and make her “born again” in a river down in Texas – birthplace of Dr. Wiles himself, as the object of Juliana’s pathetic transfer.

The religious hallucinations would disrupt Juliana’s life and the people around her – adults as well as classmates – and they could only be contained with heavy psychiatric drugs such as lithium and Risperdal.

Excellent family history, excellent DNA, and excellent legacy!

Considering this disturbing family history of mental illness connected with violence and crime,

Saussy is indeed the least likely source of information on “global health.”

How is this even allowed to happen at any university?

In truth, he shouldn’t have access to any university in the civilized world, especially in a multi-ethnic place like Chicago.

Many people at Yale and elsewhere have repeatedly complained about this dangerous racist and sex offender due to his financial and ideological ties to the Klan.

Everybody should be concerned, since this criminal is still in contact with young and diverse students and scholars at Chicago, which is both unlawful and extremely dangerous.

JOHN BISHOP

In the academic year 2002-3, I was studying at U.C. Berkeley after winning a very competitive, international fellowship based on academic merit in the Linguistics dep’t, which at the time was the highest-rated in the country.

John Bishop started targeting and harassing me as soon as he saw that I was a good-looking, foreign student on a VISA. In order to have complete control over me, he stole my passport and used it to blackmail me.

Bishop’s “Stanford buddies,” Haun Saussy and P. Lewis, had the same modus operandi. Being without my European documents, I felt very frightened in a foreign country. Apart from my U.C. Berkeley or Yale student IDs, I didn’t have any other form of identification and was basically stuck in the United States. When my father died in February 2007, I could not even travel back to attend his funeral.

Their abuse went on for years, and it didn’t stop because of police intervention, but only because Saussy’s wife, Ms. Yu-Lin Wang, found my documents in her safe and started the legal procedure to divorce her unfaithful husband, obtaining very favorable terms for herself, i.e. almost 75% of Saussy’s finances.

After stealing my passport, Bishop falsely claimed I couldn’t live at my student dorm, the historical Cloyne Court, unless I took an OBGYN visit at a Planned Parenthood location of his choice in San Francisco, where he had an associate who helped him ‘select’ the female students he liked.

They had a procedure in place: first, they would test the students for sexually transmissible diseases (STDs) and then, they would have them take an OBGYN visit to see if they were shaped like a “Fleshlight,” see below. I’d like to thank the Rape Crisis Center, where I could talk freely and safely about this terrible experience.

Bishop was obsessed with the idea of finding a “human Fleshlight” among the female foreign students attending Berkeley, so the main reason why he sent them to Planned Parenthood for OBGYN visits was to make sure they were shaped like a “Fleshlight.” Unfortunately, I embodied his fantasies only too well.

These objects were invented in the 1990s and patented as a “masturbatory device” for the “collection of sperm.”

Quoting from their website, it is allegedly the “#1 Male Sex Toy in the World” with “Over 12 Million Men Satisfied,” and Bishop was one of them. Indeed, he was a very small and weak man, and to get some sexual gratification, he would often use these Fleshlights, which are shaped like very tight and elongated female genitals.

In the same way, Bishop had elaborated some racist and deranged theories of his own about human genitalia, e.g. he was convinced that the shape and size of female genitals is a direct consequence of race.

In his racist and perverted mind, Asian women in general are small and therefore precious; African and African American women are large and therefore worthless; and instead Caucasian women are unpredictable, i.e. he could not predict how large or small their genitals were going to be just based on how tall or short they were. Of course, all such racist theories are completely insane, and violent racists and sex offenders like Bishop and his ‘buddies’ should spend a long time in jail.

Honestly, I was amazed at the depth of Bishop’s perversion, and how he tried to intellectualize it and find justifications for it. I was very innocent when I first married, with a civil union, in Northern Italy – I was only 19 and my partner, a police officer, was 21. Indeed, we were both very innocent and naïve. My partner was handsome, intelligent, physically gifted, and he looked like a celebrity.

Bishop, instead, was the complete opposite, so the comparison was a big humiliation for him as well as an endless source of anger and violence against me, cf. “Do you want to receive my anger? There’s lot of it inside me, and I’m afraid of it.” (Bishop’s explicit email on 26/10/2003, included below).

John Bishop’s sexual abuse continued throughout the academic year 2002-3 at U.C. Berkeley. He wanted me to spend many nights in his house in Oakland, and when I was at Cloyne Court, he would often come by to check on me. Berkeley used to be very competitive, in general. Moreover, my academic adviser at the University of Bologna, Rosa Maria Bosinelli, was a renowned professor of English Literature and Linguistics, and she expected me to be the best in all my classes. So, I had to perform at the top of all my classes while at the same time surviving abuse and sexual violence from an old racist, who was 28 years older than me.

As shown in this explicit picture, Bishop was 28 years older than me, and not in good shape.

Bishop’s health was bad and quickly getting worse, e.g. he would take a lot of medications for his manic depression and cardio-vascular disease. But instead of leading a sober and moderate lifestyle, he would indulge in binge-drinking and binge-eating, with the result that he was grossly overweight.

Many times, he would fall asleep after binge-drinking, forgetting to take his medications for cardio-vascular disease, and this eventually caused him to experience a devastating stroke.

His cardio-vascular disease was also the cause of erectile disfunction (E.D.), which he tried to obviate w/ Viagra and Cialis.

This fact made him quite angry, frustrated and aggressive, cf. “Do you want to receive my anger? There’s lot of it inside me, and I’m afraid of it.” (Bishop’s explicit email on 26/10/2003, included below). This display of vulgarity, selfishness, egotism and complete disregard for other people – and their own life priorities and desires – does not give a good example to anyone, especially coming from a so-called ‘professor’ at U.C. Berkeley.

John Bishop had many illnesses, including cardio-vascular disease and erectile dysfunction, alcohol addiction, manic depression and overweight. Furthermore, Bishop was unable to tolerate any criticism and was completely incapable of making fun of himself, which was quite paradoxical given the vast array of physical and psychological issues he had.

Any critical remark, or even a simple joke, would precipitate an outburst of anger and violence, thus showing his true personality behind the fake mask of ‘kindness’ he would wear on the outside, since he was particularly fond of portraying himself as a “really good guy.”

He was, in fact, quite the opposite. Any sign of superior intelligence – e.g. a display of cultural sophistication, a critical observation, some ironic or satirical remark – would cause him to flare up with envy and anger. And that, in turn, would inevitably end up in a drinking binge and more violence and abuse against me, see for instance this 10/26/2003 email describing his angry interaction with another female student, whom he had sexually molested in the past:

“Dearest Margherita,

Thank you so much for the pictures – the one from Oughterard brought back so many memories, and it is beautiful. I hate myself for writing that horrible note to you last night. You are right, I am a cruel torturer.

I was drunk and angry at the whole world, all of it, but really of course especially myself, the jackass one with the long ears who’s too kind to everyone. A friend called and I got angry with her.

It was Friday night, at the end of a long week, and I got very drunk. I drank two whole bottles of red wine, by myself, and I didn’t go to sleep until 6 am. I was with nobody.

I woke up at noon with a very bad hang-over and suffered from it all day. I am a very bad man.

It was not enough for Bishop to rape students during the academic year at U.C. Berkeley, but he also wanted to enjoy himself in the same way during the winter break and the summer, e.g. in Ireland. He had a very special idea to have fun and enjoy himself on June 16, 2004, which marked the 100^th anniversary of the day (June 16, 1904) on which Joyce’s Ulysses is set.

To celebrate that event, a conference was organized in Dublin, Ireland. Bishop saw himself as one of the ‘stars’ of this conference and he wanted me to accompany him and share his hotel room, see his handwritten note below. Bishop wanted me to live with him “like James and Nora,” as he said several times to justify himself. Famously, James and Nora Joyce were never officially married until the end, and only for testamentary reasons, and Bishop saw that as a pretext to sexually molest and rape students.

After the conference, Bishop had planned a whole tour of Ireland. For that purpose, he rented a car with a local car-rental company. But, being addicted to alcohol, he very often drove under the influence, exposing me to the risk of a car crash in a foreign country.

Wasting even more time with Bishop was indeed the last thing on my mind. My father in Northern Italy had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and I only wanted to spend some time at home. But Bishop didn’t care, showing once gain his vile nature behind the mask of a non-existent “good guy,” and adding even more pressure to a life-and-death situation.

These pix show the progression of his liver disease and obesity, fueled by his alcohol addiction.

After it was discovered that he had raped an Asian-American student, Fliegelman started playing the ‘victim’ even more – always blaming his real victims, instead of reforming his life.

As shown in the previous email, Bishop arranged a dinner between us and his “best friend” and “Stanford buddy,” Jay Fliegelman, officially to discuss graduate schools.

At Stanford, John Bishop and Jay Fliegelman had like-minded “buddies” such as Haun Saussy and P. Lewis in English and comparative literature, with a penchant for foreign women of color.

The so-called “Stanford buddies” shared the same racist ideologies, inclination to violence and modus operandi, which involved passport theft, blackmail and Planned Parenthood visits.

Later, it was discovered that Fliegelman had raped an Asian American student, Ms. Seo-Young Chu — she became a target because she was Asian American, intersectional as well as a vulnerable individual, who had been diagnosed with depression and had attempted suicide. But instead of trying to eliminate Ms. Seo-Young Chu and write her final “testament,” Stanford paid attention to her complaint and they supported her, with the result that now she teaches English as an associate professor at NYU.

Bishop and Fliegelman used antiquated literary theories as a pretext to attract young victims and blabber about private sexual matters with them.

But those were just the stupid and delusional fantasies of two ugly, old guys.

For instance, Bishop believed he had a ‘special connection’ with the deceased novelist James Joyce – indeed, he was obsessed with this paranoid idea. He also identified with some of Joyce’s fictional characters, esp. with Leopold Bloom, a seller of advertisements who can’t make ends meet, so he gets the bad idea of pimping his wife, Molly, to a self-proclaimed impresario, who’d arrange a singing tour to make money with her good voice. In the same way, Bishop wanted to enjoy the sadomasochistic thought that his best friend Jay was having sex with a younger woman in his own bed, as in Joyce’s Ulysses.

Again, I should thank the Rape Crisis Center for offering protection and positive affirmation, as we discussed these violent and racist abuses.

Fliegelman lived in the San Francisco area, and when we met at Bishop’s house in Oakland, he suffered from depression and alcohol addiction. He was a heavy drinker, very flabby and out of shape. He presented himself as a “poor victim” in need of love and affection.

Bishop and Fliegelman had many sexual frustrations connected with their old age, overweight, alcoholism, depression and general poor health. They suffered from a number of physical and mental illnesses, including cardiovascular disease and impotence, and were never able to have sex without taking drugs like Viagra or Cialis.

In spite of this reality check, they liked young women and blackmailed them, which made them experience some perverted pleasure. Indeed, they were much older than me, i.e. 28 years older.

I’ve often tried to imagine the reverse: a female professor trying to blackmail a male student 28 years younger? That’s unconceivable. This type of self-delusion is an example of what the DSM-5, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, describes as a pathological trait of toxic masculinity.

And speaking of applications for graduate schools, I was on the Dean’s Honors List at U.C. Berkeley for both semesters, fall 2002 and spring 2003, cf. UCB Official Transcripts and Dean Kwong-loi Shun’s letter.

Naturally, I wanted to apply for graduate school at U.C. Berkeley, where I was already comfortably living as a Cloyne Court resident, a historical boarding house.

But Bishop did not want to have any witnesses to his crimes, so he forced me to apply to Yale instead, where he knew that his racist friends and associates, Saussy and Lewis, would love the result of my Planned Parenthood tests and would discriminate against me, as a woman of color from Western Africa, with African DNA.

English at U.C. Berkeley is a sprawling dep’t with a lot of teaching personnel. I complained with them about Bishop and his sexual abuse, but they already knew everything about it.

Indeed, many among the teaching staff were his accomplices, aiding and abetting him, and making it possible for him to keep raping foreign students.

Instead of abiding by the law and helping students of color, they tried to silence me, while at the same time covering up for their colleague’s criminal and racist behavior.

By experience, and in my humble opinion, many people in the English dep’t are helpers and supporters of sex offenders like Bishop and Fliegelman, see Prof. Wendy Brown, quoted above.

An important reason to file this Criminal Complaint is the fact that there are no African scholars of Shakespeare, precisely because they are victims of rape and sex trafficking, racist hatred, discrimination, religious bigotry and fanaticism, exactly as I was.

And given that Shakespeare is advertised as “universal literature,” this is also a massive academic and financial fraud.

I sincerely hope that my Criminal Complaint will help other innocent people avoid all these dangerous criminals and their enablers in so-called “American academia.”
